A Jumper pin is a component that controls the connection status of electronic devices. It is sometimes called a jumper block or a jumper plug. It has the role of a switch, energizing when connected to adjacent pins on a motherboard, etc., and shutting off when removed. Complex settings are possible by combining multiple jumper pins, and settings can be changed easily. The shape is a small block with a width of about 5 mm and a height of about 6 mm. Metal inside the plastic body is used to insert pins and energize. The pitch between pins is generally 2.54 mm, but some products support 2.0 mm.
