In addition to handheld type and benchtop type, multiple-unit benchtop tally counters with multiple counters linked together are suitable for product inspection and chemical management at factories, inventory management, and the like. Electronic types run on dry cell batteries or button cell batteries and display the count on an LCD and the like and emit a sound when the add button is pressed. Counters are machines that measure rotational speed and velocity of items with rotational movement. Length measuring counters and the like calculate rotational speed and the number of reciprocating motions to display length of paper, film, or metal plates.
