  Because the astringent is water soluble, the color hue fades if exposed to rain or water. Repaint at such times.

• Coating Method 1

  Removes the dirt and oil, etc. on paint surface.

• Coating Method 2

  Thoroughly dry the wood and then apply "Persimmon Varnish (for final coating)." Paint after using fine sandpaper to bring out the grain.

• Coating Method 3

  There are two ways of applying: rubbing the liquid with a cloth or using a brush.* Overlaying with [Kakishibu Tech (for finishing)] sold separately after the coat has dried further enhances durability and gloss.* Perform 1st, 2nd, and 3rd painting (test painting) on the wood part before choosing your favorite color to paint.

• Dyeing Method 1

  Please sufficiently clean off any filth or oil from the cloth or paper to be dyed.

• Dyeing Method 2

  Paint "Kakishibu" (astringent) (for full applications) on to finish with preferred color.* Overlaying with [Kakishibu Tech (for finishing)] sold separately after the coat has dried enhances durability.

• Dyeing Method 3

  Finally, the product is washed with water and finished. The color may deepen somewhat with extended periods of use.
